The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Province of Alicante (JOVEMPA) represents the young business and professional community from one of the most dynamic provinces in Spain. Since its very first day as an active institution, JOVEMPA has been inspired by a hard working spirit and total commitment to excellence in each and every one of the activities, projects, and events in which it has engaged.

This is an organization formed by professionals and business owners between 18 and 40 years of age. However, we are an open entity , willing to get involved in any worthwhile activity that suits the principles of freedom, positive working habits, cooperation and the generation of wealth and employment opportunities.

Alicante is one of the richest provinces in Spain. Located in the Costa Blanca, Southeast Spain, the variety and strength of its economic structure is such that the province excels in a number of sectors, namely Tourism, Industrial Technology and Machinery, Footwear, Fashion, Foodstuffs, Fruits and Vegetables, Fisheries, Leather Accessories, Construction Materials (especially marble, granite and limestone), Furniture, Concrete Products, Toys, Wine and Spirits, Textiles, Optical Research and Technology, and many others.

In the light of this, the opportunities for business and economic development have been soaring continually in our area during decades, allowing for an even brighter future.

JOVEMPA in the Global Environment
Amongst our members, we count on a number of professionals and business entrepreneurs who develop their tasks internationally. At this point in time, we can affirm that JOVEMPA is one of the most multicultural Associations of its kind in the European Union. Due to their business, educational, cultural and racial background, many members of JOVEMPA perform their daily activities in contact with such countries as the United States, all of the European Union nations, Latin America, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, PR China, the Philippines, Canada, Australia, Morocco, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and some others. Nowadays, we find at JOVEMPA a number of people proficient in such languages as Spanish, English, French, Japanese, Chinese Mandarin, Taiwanese, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese or German. This allows to figure out the real extent of our international vocation and dynamism.
